The Cordillera Region is located on the Western side of Canada. This region contains most of British Columbia, most of the Yukon Territories, and ¼ of the N.W.T’s. It has the Pacific Ocean, the Rocky Mountains, and the Okanagan Valley. The Pacific Ocean is great for fishing, recreation, tourism, jobs, and transportation. The mountains attract people through their ski hills, hiking trails, minerals (gold, copper, silver, zinc, coal, and lead), and the natural beauty of its landscape. This region is a great place to travel to!
